ABOUT ROC FREEDOM RIDERS
We Ride to support Black spaces, Black places, and acknowledge Black Faces.
Our rides are designed to patronize Black owned businesses while promoting living a healthy lifestyle, and speaking up against systemic racial practices.
June 19th, 2020 The Original 51 Freedom riders made their way to Nathanial corner store to patronize the Black-owned convivence store.
BLACK OUT THE 4TH
On the 4th of July, your independence day not ours, we payed homage to the great Rochester native Frederick Douglas and his speech, "What to the slave is the fourth?".
Cooperative Economics is one of the founding principles of the Roc Freedom Riders. During this ride we made our way to the melanin market and made sure we bought as much as we could handle.
